As it’s the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this weekend I thought it was only right that I had some Jubilee nails! I went for simple Barry M 262 Bright Red for three nails, Nails Inc Jubilee on my index finger, and painted a Union Flag on my ring finger. For this I used Nails Inc Baker Street for the base, along with Barry M 66 Matt White, and Andrea Fulerton Stripe and Sparkle Ann, perfect as it has a thin brush. It did take me a couple of hours to do the flag, I decided to use nail art tape to help me with the white, my hands aren’t steady enough to do it freehand! I was a bit disappointed that I managed to smudge the red adding a top coat though, even after I waited for it to dry, but I still love the finished result.
I also made some Jubilee cupcakes, vanilla with strawberry and vanilla icing – yum!
